paint peeling

I 2005 F 350 The black paint is peeling off the emblems is this something that is covered under the 3 year 36000 mile warrenty?

I would think it would be covered under the bumper-to-bumper 3/36 warr. Can't gauruntee, as I have never had this issue. i would take it to the dealer and find out. Of course, if it is due to scratches, stone chips, etc. etc, then it probably wouldn't be covered. Just my $0.02

Yes it is covered. Ford had problems with the emblems in 2005. Bring it to the dealership and they will swap them out for you.

add 2006 to the list had one replaced a couple of months ago and the other is going to be replaced soon. Covered under warranty.

I had two of them peeling. They replaced all three, no questions asked.

Or you could just acetone them and go for that shiny look. Some people take the black off on purpose.

The only time my '02 has peeled is when I hit the throttle hard.

Have you tried to get the black off with acetone? Mine look terrible, yet acetone hardly touches the paint. Im having a buddy who is a graphic artist and painter repaint mine for me.
