I would think it would be covered under the bumper-to-bumper 3/36 warr. Can't gauruntee, as I have never had this issue. i would take it to the dealer and find out. Of course, if it is due to scratches, stone chips, etc. etc, then it probably wouldn't be covered. Just my $0.02
Or you could just acetone them and go for that shiny look. Some people take the black off on purpose.
Have you tried to get the black off with acetone? Mine look terrible, yet acetone hardly touches the paint. Im having a buddy who is a graphic artist and painter repaint mine for me.
