Paint peeling on badges

The black paint on my chrome badges is peeling off bad. Has anyone else had this problem?

Both of my 05's had peeling badges. Dealer replaced them under warranty.

Yep the factory badges are junk. Go to the dealer for replacements

Same here, dealer replaced no problem.

The new one is now starting to peel. One thing that I did here around here was to take some acetone and remove all the rest of the paint and leave them chrome. I think I may try that.

Mine peeled off too... oh well. Looks better all chromed IMO.

I had mine replaced at the dealer. Does anyone know if the 04 badges will FIT on the 05 trucks? I didnt know if they would fit in the holes where the 05 badges go.

I don't know for sure if the '04 badges will fit the '05 but I don't see why they wouldn't. I do know that the left and right fender badges and the tailgate badge are all different. They actually have guides that make them go on one way, straight! (I found out the hard way)
