When I did mine (which was several years ago) if I recall it only went down about 100 or so. But I think it was well worth it and I'm glad that I did it. Hope this helps some. May somebody that had done one more recently will have better info for you.
I can't see gutting the ebv espically if your doing much towing. Saving 50-150 degrees and not having an exhaust brake....just my opinion. Now if it's acting up that would be another story

I agree, the only reason I did it on the 94 was because it did'nt work. The ebpv on my 96 will become a brake shortly.
Cool this interests me. I would like to loose 50 -100 degrees. Keep me posted if you do it. I want more comparisons on the temps before I do mine. I pull alot but don't use the EBPV as a brake very often. Trailers have good brakes and I ain't afraid to use them.
makes sense. I got mine from Hewittindustries.com . Call Dale there he will work with ya and they are cheaper and I understand the Pyro's are way better.
i have been considering the isspros from dieselmanor. they look and light up just like the factory gauges, boost pyro and trans with a pod and accesorries for instal, 295

Dont forget to buy the little green lamp covers, if you want to see them like the stock ones and only for the tranny and boost, because the isspro pyro doesnt needed them, it looks a little green IMO.
