Absolutely. But I would get a new fuel filter or two. Biodiesel has a dtergent effect and will break loose any deposits from your fuel system the first few tank fulls. It is a beneficial thing, but can/will almost certainly clog your fuel filter on a truck that old the first tank or two.
Here is a link to buy the fuel filter(and a CPS for a spare too)
What HK said is exactly what I did. I have the same truck as you. I put a new filter in the day I first ran bio, couple months back, and added some biobore to the tank. Have not changes the filter again since. But I am sure is has some soot deposits on it, will change it out before winter.
I run 100% Biodiesel here in Houston (houstonbiodiesel.com) and have for a couple years. It is cheaper here ($2.59), better for the environment and better (more lubricity) for your engine. It is also an American Made product from the farmers field to your local distributor. The technology exists easily today to produce enough of this clean, pure fuel to power every vehicle in the country. Unfortunately the Multinational Corporations are quite powerful within the government and are understandably not very supportive of the use of Biofuels here. That is why its so hard to find. In Europe, where the population and government embrace the use of Bio, it is the preferred fuel and the majority of the millions of barrels produced here in Houston each year are exported there to make more money off it.
I have made the switch also. I was nervous about it .I had read every thing I could find about it ,I just didn't know for sure so I flipped a nickel and heads up won out so I started with a 80/20 blend. I have the ford fuel tank of course and I also hve 51 gallon gravity feed tank. The 1st time I just filled the smaller Ford tank with the 80/20 blend. After I began to drive it on a weekend trip I had no power or preformance reduction what so ever. I was feeling great about using the blend. I did see on my celing MPG monitor I had gained another 1.5 miles per gallon. Usually I do not rely on the monitor ,I will figure the MPG over 3 tank of fuel. However I did put a pencil to it on this first tank of bio-diesel. The monitor was correct. I am at 15.3 MPG now. I had installed a new fuel fiter at the begining of the 1st tank of BIO- /checked the fuel fiter
at the end of the tank . It was filthy so I did change it.
I decided that since I was going to start using Bio needed a spread sheet showing both tank capicity's and blends from 10/90 up to a 50/50 blend and I made figures for both of my fuel tanks. This is very helpful.
Thursday of last week I need fuel, I found the bulk dealer and filled up both tanks with a 50/50 blend. So far , just as before the only change I have noticed about my truck is I have more money in my pocket with the 50% blend. I have no regrets about the switch over to Biodiesel.
Thanks to the members that helped me in this and other members. Ya know, these days there's a gimick to every thing it seems like , but this web-site is with no dought the real thing
. You boy's are pretty increadable , Thank Yall
ALSO
I will keep updating the site on my MPG and performance.

Reason: addition
As far as I have read about mileage with bio, you should get fewer miles per gallon with the bio as it has fewer btu's per unit of fuel (not sure of correct terms). I am currently working on brewing my first batch of bio and will post my personal results after running it.
At B20 the mileage seems about the same, but the engine runs noticeably smoother. I was amazed how much the engine settled down the second the biodiesel made it's way to the injectors.
The reason for it being smoother is the better lubricity of the oil. vegetable oil has much better lubricating qualities than diesel. Just be sure to check and change your fuel filter(s) the first couple of tanks. Reason being, is that bio and wvo acts as a solvent, or cleaner. it dissolves sludge in the tank and in the fuel lines. After it cleans them out your filters will last longer.
