Well, as I just posted, tonight I finally found one the fan controller that I had been looking for, for the past week. I've also been trying to find some relays locally but it looks like I'm going to have to order them from the net, wish I had known that a week ago so I could install the damned thing tomorrow. I'm gonna search a little more tomorrow and order online if I don't come up with anything. In the meantime I need to find out which diodes and fuse to use for my circuit. Anyone know?

I'd look at putting a circuit breakers or high-amp fuses on the wiring for the fan motors (using a 30A on the low and a 50A on the high). I would think with the relays a fuse would not be as critical on the 12V+ switch side since it would cut the power if you lost power in a particualr circuit (wired mine in with an existing fusible link circuit).....

Well, the only 5 pin relay I could get my hands on was a 40amp (and I need 5 pins for my application). As much as I don't want to, I'm just gonna go ahead and wire it with the 40amp on high speed and 30amp on low speed. It should take me a couple hours to get all the wiring taken care of before I install it into the truck so please post here if you think this is a horrible idea in the next couple hours before I put the fan in. I think it should be okay, but I'll be pushing the limit of that relay. Thanks a bunch guys.

UPDATES!!

I've been working different circuits for hours and I have finally come up with a solution. I'm going to purchase the 4 prong 75amp relay and use a THIRD relay to control the other 2. On top of that, I have also changed gears and decided that instead of the way I was going to wire it before, I'm going to wire it as follows:

-Start up truck and no fan comes on. When temperature reaches specified temp on thermo-switch the LOW speed will turn on. Once engine cools it will turn low speed off again. The only time when high speed comes on is if I turn on the A/C or flip the in-cab switch to the down position. The hardest part about all of this was trying to make the low speed TURN OFF when I turned the high speed on, and vice versa, without a high amperage 5-terminal relay. This was achieved through use of a 3rd relay, 40amp/5-terminal. See my wiring diagram below:

Please post any corrections if need be, I'd rather be criticized that rig my truck up with faulty wiring. Andy, thanks again for all your help, I wouldn't have gotten this far without you dude.

Looks good, but you only need a small low amperage SPDT (five terminal) relay to control the other two relays. You only have to supply enough current to run the coils on the other two relays, not their loads.

You also have the switch mislabeled, high and low are reversed. Even though the actual switch will look like you have it drawn you should label it differently in a schematic.

Yeah I said I was going to use a 40a as the the control relay, only because I have already purchased 2 so that is what is available to me. And although the switch looks backwards, its correct because the contacts are opposite of the switch positions, that I know. Thanks Andy.

Fan is in, and guess what!! Worked right the first time with my wiring job!! The only hangup was that the pins were reversed on the inductive coil of the high amp relay so I swapped the connectors and presto, worked perfect. I still need to calibrate my thermo switch for the correct temperature, what should I set it to?

So I haven't gotten to drive it very much but I drove it last night after I got it installed, and with the fan turned off, MAN, whole new truck. Seemed a lot faster, I don't know if it was in my head but my truck seemed WAY faster. I'll play with it a little more and let you know what I find.
