Wow thats Nice to here!!! ....Good luck on the road to 300k... Our 05 V10 has 105k...runs like new.
I've had the dealer do all maintenance on the truck from day one. Only a couple of oil changes when I was to far from home. Only a few minor problems with truck since new.
Did replace the altenator at 185K and an A/C clutch but nothing major mechanical. I had a new set of plugs installed at 100K and basically just try to keep the preventive maintenance going. Have started to hear some rear end whine but we put some 100% synthetic in and hasn't seemed to change any more. Maybe I'll just turn the radio up a little louder. Friends of mine with diesels laughed when I bought the V/10 but they're not laughing anymore. After engine replacements, maintenance and the cost of fuel they've gotten quite. Once again heading for 300K !!!
I've got 160k on a 2000 v10. i pull a 14,000 lb trailer most days. No problems with drivability or any other problems for that manner . I run synthetic oil and change it every 3 to 4,000 miles
355k on a '99. Purchased used with 139K in 2004 Oct. Changed motor at 235k in 2006 but I dont know if I would have had to. The original owner never changed the back 2 plugs and when I pulled them and changed the clutch @175K they were deteriorated and oiled. I should have changed plug coils before the engine swap to see if that solved the miss or if it was internal but I assumed that it was internal due to the oiled plugs.
1 New fuel pump and guage sending unit.
2 New batteries (every other year),
2 new front rotors @ 285K. Cyrogenically conditioned.
1 AC clutch (second one making noise)
1 fan clutch
2-3 serpentines
3 rad flushes
2 cluthes (just changed the second one @ 355 and it would have gone at least another 75K.
Now has 6 speed from a 2004 installed in 2006., was a 5 speed.
Input shaft on 6 speed from busted pilot bearing 7/08.
a few tie rod ends, 1 set ball joints. 2nd set on right side coming soon.
Tranny, transfer and rear end changed every 80-100k. I should maybe change at 60-75k due to towing trailers. Engine oil changed every 3-7K usually every 4. Has used one qt between 3k changes and another between 3K and 5+K.
Had 2 door latches rust up on me 2 days apart. Not a hard job to get them out and lube them up good. 7/08
3 sets of shocks, 3rd one installed at 355K 7/08
2 front needle spindle wheel bearings.
4-5 broken rear springs. The truck was on the pipeline in souther U.S..... Miss/Tex and may have been used hard.
In January, resprung all four paws.
I now have timbrin overloads on the rear. I dont' expect to replace any more broken springs, but it is very stiff and I have had to beef up the trailer hitch already.
I throttle cable.
At least 2 clutch rods, connecting the clutch pedal with the brake master cylinder. They usually come with a new master cylinder. This is a faulty system. The clutch rod has a **** end and goes inside the master cylinder cup. The clutch pedal spring throws it back against the **** catch. The **** eventually wears and then comes out of the cup. There should be a much better system for this.
About 4-5 emergency cables. They last about 2-3 years.
Fuel filters about every 50K.
ORIGINAL EXHAUST SYSTEM.
Original Radiator,
Original heater core;
They must be making some things better.
Getting ready to replace spark plugs and all 10 coils. Coils have 140K, but are 9 yrs old and the plugs have 120K. Starting to miss and stumble especially low RPM's and under load or perhaps that is when I notice it.

WOW - 304K... I think we have a winner! Can you get a pic of the odo and post it?
172000 and goin strong! I gave up caring up about gas mileage, and am now driving it, stomping it at all the lights and enjoying the sound of 4000+ rpms. Hopefully I'll take off the muffler, put on a Comp cam, and get it ported soon.
Great trucks, great engine. Mines got 120k miles and has only had plugs at 90K, 2 coils at random times and last week a AC clutch. Thats it for the engine. I rebuilt the entire front end suspension last fall, and this spring put on CyroPowerslot rotors and Hawk LTS pads on the front. It needs it's second tranny flush, a set of rear shocks and the muffler has just developed a small hole. Good excuse to put on a Flowmaster FM70. Hoping to keep this truck running well for many years to come.
