2000, 26K, bought new. Always have towed a 20ft car covered car hauler with a small to medium sized vehicle inside (have yet to weigh the load). Banks - headers, intake, trans module.
Just got back from a 1K trip, as I was moving the trailer to park it and the engine thru a code. I'll have it read over the next couple of days.
Todate, no problems (pending this code).

Yes it is a 6.0 Don't get me wrong, the truck pulls great (when it is running) it will pull any hill with my 7500lb camper in overdrive. But the last two times when I was on vacation with my camper the truck broke. So I have cancelled all of my vacation plans since May because I don't trust this truck more than 50 miles from my house. My v 10 NEVER broke down in 170,000 miles. No it won't pull those hills in overdrive, but at least I will get there.

Wow - that's really inspiring. What are doing to put 50K a year on that thing? How often do you change the oil?

2000 f250 2wd 4.30 rear 5 speed 90k never been back to the stealer since new. just purchased my second set of 265 75/16 tires. 45k each about right. replaced rotors and pads with i-rotors slotted and drilled. broke and replaced front parking brake cable. installed a stabilizer shock years ago to loose the jarring when you hit a pothole. changed the trans, rear and coolant fluids twice. looking to change the ball joints soon. had a fusible link blow in the harness from the alternator, was a bitch to diagnose. (got good help from here)!

got a ford tech cd from a bud and it really helps with step by step maintenance. saves a bundle in shop labor.
