Working at a dealer I regularly see them around 200k with regular maintenance, even seen a few over 300k. Recently put a motor in an '03 E-450 that showed 168k on the odometer that was documented as not counting miles since early '06.
f250 4X4 Crew Cab bought new in 2000 have only used Amsoil synthetic 15-w40 Heavy Duty. Change every 20,000-25,000 miles, and never changed a plug. I pull a 32 foot gooseneck trailer for tractors and hay. I have replace one vacum line. the truck now has 148,356 miles on it.
My dad drives for a commuter shuttle company he's got over 400,000 on the 99 15 passenger 350. This is all cruise controlled highway travel. He's says it runs great other then using a few transmissions over the years. The company does the service so it's hard to say what kind of pm they do. I know he says they believe in if aint broke dont fix it...
2001 F-250, 136k miles. I bought it 3 months ago with 131 on it.
No clue on the history, as I bought it from a used car dealer.
Since I've owned it, I've done the following:
- Replace Air bag sensor and Air bag clock spring
- Replace oil
- Replace fuel filter
- Replace wipers
- Replace passenger door lock
- Repair tailgate latch (it was sticking)
- Ran SeaFoam through it
- Replaced rear turn signal bulbs (driver went out - changed both)
- Put on a soft Tonneau cover
Things I'll need to do soon:
- Change Trans fluid
- Change diff fluid
- Change Air filter
- Replace PCV valve
- PowerSlot rotors and HAWK pads
- New rims
Thing I'll do later:
- Change the plugs and wires
- Change shocks
- New ball joints
- Tighten steering box
Things for fun: - Banks headers & exhuast
- Superchips tune
- LED tail lights and 3rd brake light
- 05 headlights - DVD / NAV & Backup camera
Wish List: - Ram Air hood & intake
- Winch?
Iam not high mileage but......Brought a used super clean show room like 2003 f350 cc sb 4x4 3:73ls with 26k miles now has 31k with no problems. Its our family vacation truck. Tows our coleman popup very easy at 80mph!

hopefully I'm good to go for a while now, truck runs like a champ
when I was shopping for mine, I was considering another excursion for about half the price, a 200 v10 that had 229k miles. You'd think it was all highway miles, but nope, the thing was used for food catering (smelled appropriately too). engine and the rest of the drivetrain ran fine. It did need some ball joints however, badly.
I haven't posted in awhile but I thought this would be worthy in this thread. My '05 will rollover 200,000 in the morning. Runs better today than ever before. I quess I'll get her a new set of plugs to celebrate the occasion. Heading for the big 300K !!!
