Thats really pretty cheap compared to what some others charge... The ex has such a simple rear bumper shape that I don't think it'd be too hard to make one yourself if you were motivated. I imagine these bumpers have a healthy profit margin on them.
I would have to agree. I also post an another site about my 1978 Bronco and am amazed at the sweet bumpers some of those guys build. The one I will eventually try to "copy" has a swing out Jerry can holder and a separate swing out spare tire carrier "barn door style." Great for Excursions too!! The guy used an old front hub, axle, and lockout assemblies so they can be locked in any position with just the spin of a lockout hub. Figure if they will support the weight of a truck at speed they will hold a spare tire. They also have a lock to keep them closed. Just need the time and money.
yep I've seen the built ones using a hub for a swing and it sounds smart to me. I'd probably go with the 1500 lb trailer hubs because they are smaller and would support the weight just fine.
I have called them 3 times now. Get answering machine every time. Always leave my number but they haven't called me back. If I don't get in touch with the on Monday I am getting the Reunel.
If you would, give me your contact info so I can contact you personally.

That is a sweet setup.
