I read Cuda's artivcle he posted here, very imformative btw, and the swash place is pressed into the housing. No bolts and very hard to remove aparently.

i read the link very good but it does not make me feel good about a rebuild i know i cant rebuild it but from the sounds of no one can but if that is the case why is there a core charge ???

They can be rebuilt just not by your average joe. I would guess there are a number of special jigs for pressing everythign apart. the front seal is unique to the pump from what I hear so Its hard to come by unless you have connections. And the list goes on.
