Those Cougar heads are good (C9OE) and are almost as good as the GT-40 ones. They are slightly better than mine as they don't have emission bumps in the exhaust runner. Just you may need hardened seats as mine were made in 1974 which was at the end of the leaded gas.

Dan didn't want to part out his engine so that's why I went to Bucks and anyways the Crown Vic parts would have been wrong.

It's on but not perfect. I tried to put a metal screw in the end shaft but it broke off. It did spread the shaft slightly so the linkage won't come off but I may put a tac weld later on.

so allow me to express my ignorance once again... what we're looking at is a throttle body and linkage which helps your build how...?? because you don't have one?? or is this a specific volume that will enhance performance??
