Long story I got the 77.5 bought because the buyer right before Me took it for a test drive. First thing He did was stick it in four-wheel drive and head down the driveway well when He came to the blacktop at the end that was where it stopped.
Seems the Mechanic that replaced the rear axle never checked the ratio. It had 4.10s in the front and 3.50s in the back. So when I showed up the price dropped a LOT.
So yes a mid 80’s sterling will bolt right in and I had one.

That Hoist and Gantry came from Harbor freight on sale for less then $750.
Some days I just stand in the shop and smile. I waited a long time to have a place like this. Kids are grown and it's Me time now.

So I take it you attempted to resurrect the red cab until you found the gold colored F250?

Pretty cool 67 Turbo! I like your toy shop. I dream of having something like that someday soon.

Eye spy a nice little collection of Hot wheels? Got any pickups (hotwheels)?

Nope I actually didn't have any hope for that cab it's so bad but hey look at that rust free bed that came with it. I did want a better body and thought I was going to get one bought but sadly He backed out after the deal was made. I'll be happy with this as it is really for hauling off limbs and brush from Our property. This makes a very useable truck not afraid to scratch it.

You keep dreaming I'm 52 and finally got it.

That looked like a nice body you swapped, a little rust but that thing should look sharp in town. Everyone needs a utility truck.
