Update pics of the 53!

Hi there all, Just finished the brake lines on the 53. The stainless steel lines with braided ends certainly came out pretty good. I am happy with the result. It's a job that I wouldn't like to do for a living, even though I only helped with process. The brake guy is the real magician. Here's some pics for a looksie. Cheers All (Paul)

Looks good. I like how the lines follow the contour of the rear like that too.

I agree!!! It's the "little details" that set a nice, and great truck apart...

Aussie 53. Very sweet. I have a 50th anniversery myself. Is yours a original right hand drive? Like the 1959 Chevrolet 2 door in the movie, Mad Max. That made Mel a star. '53s RULE.

What did you pain your master cylinder with so the paint won't come off when the break fluid hits it?

Woodsmoke my 53 was originally left hand drive, converted it over to RHD by finding a wrecked cab from a Aussie truck, not many original RHD trucks down under. A guy I was talking to the other day who is mad about F100's 53-56 said he knows of about 75. The master cyclinder is a two pack black same as the chassis.
