86 MAP or DPFE?

86 MAP or DPFE?
86 2.3,5spd, base ranger. On Gen. 3 rangers the EGR and EVR operation is dependant on input from the DPFE through the PCM. My Enzo doesn't have a DPFE, does the MAP do the same thing turn the EVR and EGR on and off? I don't have my chilton's with me so I can't look it up. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
