Looking for a 7.3 flatbed- help
I own and run a landscape company. I am looking to obtain another truck for my fleet. Spraying chemicals in summer and salting (V-Box) in the winter. I like the idea of a flat bed vs a pickup box. I can't find a decent truck to save the life of me! Checked dealers (won't dealer trade for a used one), ebay, craigslist, autotrader, truckpaper can't find anything nice. Looking for a reg cab, F-350, drw, auto,4x4, flatbed, 7.3L a MUST! I can't even find a 4x4, let alone a 7.3. If anybody knows of anything or anyone selling one, let me know. I really want a 99-04 body style and don't want to spend more then 15k.

my brother in law is thinking about selling his. it is an F-350, crew cab 4x4 dually flatbed. it is a 2001 year and has about 120k miles on it. it is a manual transmission. he has put on it the bully dog 4 position flip switch, 5 in ch exhaust from the turbo back, oversized downpipe etc. he lives in GA and i think hes thinking of asking closer to 20K for his but maybe slightly south of that. pm me if you are potentially interested and want his number and i will send it to you.

That's funny because I'm trying to sell a 96 F-350 7.3l auto dually 4x4 reg cab, really nice aluminum flatbed 8.5' with a 8.5' V-boss plow and no will even look or call on it. ?????????? Guess my asking price of $9500 is to high????? Is currently listed on findcars.com if interested.

The problem with cab and chasis trucks is they are almost all bought by businesses. As you found, it is hard to find any used one, much less one in good shape. My guess is, the companies that bought these trucks new still have them and will run them in to the ground. I was looking for a used one also, but I have decided to bite the bullet and get a new one in 6 months or a year because the only used ones I find are beat. Good luck on the search.
