Normally I watch the Big Bronco discussions, but I have a general Ford question about engine serial numbers and codes...
I am looking for a web site that lists the engine codes/serial numbers for 1980's V-8 engines.
Specifically, I am trying to verify that my 1984 Ford Bronco (full size, not a Bronco II) was supposed to have a 351W and whether what is in there now IS a 351W or something else?
Bought the Bronco as a project, but I do want to use it while working on it. I am in California, so I need to get it smogged and it is already in the system as a GROSS POLLUTER, so I need to try and make sure it is equipped as it was when built, or as close as I can get.
Also, any info on a web site with vacuum diagrams for this Bronco would be great.
Thanks to all!
Jim
