MPG DISPLAY stuck

The MPG display on my 05 PSD seems to be stuck at 10.8MPG. I does not change at all. Anyone knows what controls that function/display & what it would take to fix it?

push and hold both buttons at the same time. for about 3 seconds the display should reset and begin again.

Thanks for the reply. I presume you are talking ablut the Info, Reset buttons. But there are 3 buttons- Info,Setup,Reset. I played with all of them & finally got it to zero out using the setup & reset. But it doesnt seem to work right. I drove it after the reset. It slowly started counting up, finally to 10.5mpg. I didnt go over 55mph or <2000rpm. This truck is new to me, so I dont know how the display should work. With other cars that I have driven, the display goes up & down depending on the throttle response & when I settle in on a steady speed it stabilizes @ a relative MPG. This one does not do that. Any more help you can offer? It appears the trip meter & miles to empty indication works OK.

the MPG display is a constant average of your last 500 miles of driving. After a reset it will adjust as you drive until it settles on a average. It will keep recomputing your last 500 miles as you drive. It will change as your driving changes. If you want a more current reading push the buttons for a reset and start again.

I too wish it would display a current MPG figure along with the average.

Thanks again for the reply. It works ok as I understand it better. Yes, I wish it works like other vehicles.
