Heads up display

I have noticed that on my 02 f-350 that the display screen were it tells you the mikes to empty mpg temp ect that the mpg display always says 12.2mpg it never changes for about to months now its been like that and i no its had to of changed cause i beat on it pretty good last summer and over the winter ive babyed it and i took it on vacation over 300 miles away and it still didnt change anyone have a clue what it could be or how these things work.

if you hold the 2 buttons in at the same time it will reset. They are a bunch of BS mine say's 14.5 all the time unless I reset but it eventually works back down. I do the math and get 16 is round town and 18 stretched out, got 19.5 on the way back from Baltimore 1 time, all down hill. I keep mine on outside temp, thats pretty accurate. LOL

If your on the average mpg screen, press and hold the two buttons at the same time it will clear it out so you can start over. Thats about all I know about them.
