Well I think since the shop said your bearings in your rear diff were toast, you shuold see what happens once they are replaced, if you still have a vibration, I would really look hard over the driveshaft stuff. Just because a u joint is tight, doesnt mean its good. And its hard to diagnose them sometimes. The last one i replace, i was certain was tight, but there was no were else the problem could have been. Once i removed it, and pulled the cap, it was dry and the bearings had been reduced to dust. When i attempted to find play in it, there was none. The other three caps were had the normal amount of lube. So let us know what happens once they replace your carrier/pinion bearings!
