Andy, there are some bluetooth adapters that plug into the corded headset plug on the phone, and allow you to use bluetooth headsets.
I personally got a bluetooth phone (Motorola Q) and bought the bluetooth add on kit for my car stereo. Now whenever I get a phone call in my truck the radio mutes, the ring comes through the speakers and the caller id shows up on the stereo. After 3 rings it automatically pics up (you can change the number of rings or disable it so you have to hit a button to answer) and the caller comes through over the speakers and I speak normally and the mic by my rearview mirror pics up my voice. It is very handy.
You are addicted to unnecessary communications. My overdriven C/B radio will deal with you shortly.
You might want to call Momma before I KEY DOWN next to you...
My neighbor got someone into very hot water with the FCC for this sort of thing. Not a cheap fine.
If I'm taking a call hands-free while driving its an emergency like my daughter calling when she's watching the other kids. Nothing personal Greywolf, but if someone pulls that sort of stunt on me I'm calling the police and the FCC after I get their tag. You never know if its an emergency or not that you're interfering with.
I wish there had been Bluetooth back when I was turning the wheels of commerce. what a help it would have been. The nature of my son's business requires him to be available wherever he is and Bluetooth is valuable to him.
