I got an oil leak that seems to be coming down off the passanger side of the oil pan. Looks like the seal to where the lines come out of the oil pan on the passanger side. Does anyone know what this is called, where to get it, how much does it cost, or is it difficult to replace. Thanks for any help, its greatly appreciated.

 

I'm not sure what lines you are talking about unless you mean the transmission fluid lines that go to the cooler. The only thing that comes out of the passenger side if the oil pan is the dipstick tube. This is a relatively inexpensive but difficult repair if that is where it is leaking. There is a big nut on it that you might be able to snug down. If not, there was a recent post on this fix so a search may be in order. Might have to go back about a week.
Also, make sure where the leak is coming from before fixing it. Sounds obvious but then again, better safe than sorry.
