IAT sensor

I have a 2001 f 250 with a 5.4L. I am told the IAT sensor is bad but i am unable to locate it. I have a molded plastic intake. Also on the just past the filter box is a knock out where I thought the sensor would be but is not. Cannot find it can it be part of the mass air flow sensor. Any help would be great.

I think it is built in the MAF on gas engines IAT is diesel only
