IAT
IAT
where is the IAT sensor on a 1992 f150 with a 5.0 any pictures would be appreciated, also where is the maf sensor I bought a performance chip and need to find the IAT the mechanic told me that there was no MAF or IAT sensor any help would be appreciated Thanks
The Air Charge Temperature (ACT) aka IAT, sensor is located in the number 5 cylinder intake runner on your year truck.
For reference:

Unless someone did a MAF swap your truck should be Speed Density which does not use a MAF sensor.
What are you trying to accomplish with this chip?

You should have come here and asked first before throwing your money away, we would have told you how to get real fuel milage improvements without any tricks.
What does the IAT sensor have to do with installing a chip anyway? And what kind of mechanic doesn't know what an IAT(Intake Air Temp) sensor is?
