IAT Sensor Location?

I have a 1991 2.3L Ford Ranger. I was wondering where the IAT Sensor Location is. Also called the Intake Air Temperature Sensor. I have been reading about a mod using a resistor to modify this sensor. Has anyone else heard or done this mod? Does it work? I've been told the IAT is in the MAF or around something like that, I don't really remember. IF it is inside the MAF, how do you get to it exactly? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

IAT Sensor Location?

It should be in the intake tube between the MAF sensor, and
throttle body, and it will have a 2 wire connector going to it....
