What do you mean by good tool box? If you just want one that functions well then Rawson Keonig or Delta should work. If you want heavy duty that will last forever and be a lot harder to break into then I'd go with the Ranch Hand http://www.ranchhand.com/toolboxes.htm I got mine for my 99 and switched it to my 02 and am still using it now.
Im in love with my weathergaurd...i have the black wide one with about 500 lbs of tools in it...very tight and securebox....latching mechanism works great...box is well built and sturdy, weatherstripping is awesome and the overall fit and finish kick butt...
you get what you pay for...
ive had deltas, huskys, uws and a few no names and this is by far the best toolbox ive ever had....it was well worth the 550 bucks...especially since im in and out of it at least a few times a day as a commercial construction superintendant

I would highly recommend the WeatherGuard (made by Knack). I have the wide 28" single lid crossover box that is 10 years old and still works like new. Very heavy Duty, it is able to haul 500-1000 lbs. mine is always full of tools and stuff. Deep enough to set a 5-gallon bucket inside. My tool box has been painted twice to match different trucks and is currently mounted on its third truck. After ten years of use, the only thing wrong is that the locks finally wore out and the gas struts are a little soft, but they still hold the lid open most of the way.
In my old F350 I had a Tractor supply diamond plate box I picked up un clearance. The thing was diamond plate (i believe aluminum) and I kept a floorjack in it, two jack stands, all the tools one would ever need, and enough spare parts to build half of another F350. The bottom bowed a little bit, but other than that it was a wondrful box! A buddy that races factory stockers has the same box in his truck to hold racing equipment, hasn't doen him wrong yet either.
TSC is the best. Not the fanciest, but bang for the buck, I fell they are the way to go
I would strongly recommend Weathertite. I have had Home Depot, Tractor Supply & Craftsman. This latest box Weathertite is by far the best. A little pricey but top of the line....
Tractor supply boxes used to be Dee Zee. They clearanced those out and now sell Delta and Wetherguard. The boxes with the TSC badging are Delta. The Dee Zee was a better box IMHO, I still have one, 6 years old and works great.
I have a Weatherguard on my company truck, it is nice; however, the toolbox that will go on my personal truck will be a RanchHand. Hands down, those things are the strongest boxes I have ever seen. I would say that nearly every single aluminum box on the market you can crowbar your way into, even some of the steel ones. Not the RanchHand though, when you put those round padlocks on it, it's a done deal. They won't get in short of a blowtorch.
Florida seems to be an exception, but a good tool box here is a UWS or Better Built SEC. Better built is pricing itself out of florida, so UWS is the best we have and could want. I normally charge about $280. I don't know how you expect one to be shipped to you at a decent rate, while they don't weight much they are very big. 72" across for the Superduty.
I have put my hands on Deflecta's, weatherguard and Geneva and they are the same box as a UWS for twice the money. So if you are in florida start with UWS.
