Changing front rotors on PS F350 4X4 DRW

Anyone know how to get the hub extension plate off so you can remove the rotor. Mitchell and 2 other manuals say that you just remove the hub extension bolts and remove the extension. I have tried this and the extension won't budge a bit.

Again the vehicle is a 1999 SD F350 4x4 DWR

Thanks for any info.

Do you have the rotor and hub extention off the truck?
If so,then look behind the rotor, there are nuts that you need to remove.

You have to be talking about the front ones, since you mention the extenders, remove them and their 8 nuts, then remove the calipers and then whack the heck out of the rotors as they are just on the studs. Good luck..P.S. use antisieze on everything when you reassemble..

Remove the 8 bolts through the holes and then whack the heck out of the extender with a hammer, I have had to pound on some pretty good.

Mine were stuck on there pretty good. I had to remove them to install my Warn premium manual hubs. Just take the nuts off and grab a good size rubber mallet, hit outward on the spacer, turn the hub...hit...turn the hub...hit. Just keep doing this and it will eventually break free.

Oh yeah, for those that are interested, Warn premium manual locking hubs DO work on duallies. You just have to remove the wheel spacer and grind the lip in the middle of it. They work like a champ!
