I stopped at a fast food place and my doors wnet crazy! They locked and unlocked as fast as it could and it would'nt stop. It happened when we were ordering food my guess is that it is getting a voltage to lock and unlock. I may not be sure, but doesn't all ford lock your door when you get to a certain speed? I have a 2001 XLT 6.8L V10 with 65,000. I had replaced the bad motors on the doors, and I think that If I can locate that ghost signal I can solve my problems. I was hoping that someone has been throught this as well. Any information will greatly be appreciated.
Could it be you were picking up a radio frequency signal from inside the building? Most use wireless headsets, could have been on the same frequency as your remote locking? Don't know, just a guess. Has it done it since you left, obviously it hadn't happened before.
You may be right with the frequency setting it off. I may have to disable my alarm since the wireless remote may set it of as well. It was just crazy at the fast food place. Is there a way to change the frequency of reception?
Mine would do the same thing on occasion and then began to do it on most trips. In my case it was a bad VSM. Once replaced, all has been well with the door locks.

What is the VSM?? Where is it located? Can I fix it myself?
