Guys, I just bought some rain deflectors but I was wondering if someone makes some really big ones so that I can drive around in the rain with my windows down and without the rain blowing in?
IF you know something, direct links would be appreciated.
The ones i use are from autozone and i can drive with my windows down in the rain. The window can go down 2 or 3 inchs until you get wet. They were $45.00 and didnt take long to install.
Well, I can do the same as you hybrids but I was wondering if there is something out there that will deflect the rain so much that you can have the window rolled down completely?
X Hibition, I am not sure if it was meant for me but in any case, I don't know the bubble style anway..thanks
The style I was talking about looked like it would allow the window to be down completely. Rather than just the limited coverage with the smallor visors this one would actually balloon out like a sectioned bubble to provide more coverage. They looked wild, but I haven't seen them in years.
Try this George --- www.truckstuffusa.com go to their "Window Guards" page and look at Aerovisor by Auto Ventshade or WeatherVisor by EGR. They are both near the bottom of the page and about the largest visor I think you'll find.
Looks like they'll do the trick. I like the look of the EGR ones better but first of all, they dont' have them for the X and second, I think since they dont' go all the way down, they won't protect as well as the others and the others are 125 bucks!
Lotsa damn money for some plastic
Also, if I put them in the front, I wonder if it'll look stupid with the little ones in the back that I have..?
