Well, I just removed the hose. Now it flows down towards the ground.

Something alarming tho, Since it has to move upwards to get to the hump in the exhaust above the axle, I was curious if anything was in the hose. Cut it at the low point and a couple of tablespoonfuls of oil, thick and black, flowed out. Would not have been good if it froze. This was about what was in it after a year of running

Not yet froze in my case but with that much oil in the hose, it would be a matter of time. It was thick and sludgy. When it has been sitting all night long, it probably would freeze.

The way I see it, there will be a low spot if you plumb it into the hump of the exhaust since it will be higher than the bottom of the truck. As such, vapors will collect and soon drops will form and so on and so forth

The way international vents the CCV on the garbage trucks/school buses (T-444-E) is straight down and it rest next to the frame. doesnt get cold enough to freeze them down here but occasionally we will get a errant dirt dobber that thinks it will make a nice home. usually doesnt take but a day for the oil leaks to start.

Yeah, you know, those wasp things that build the dirt tubes on walls, or anyplace else that feel like. That's what we've always called them anyway. That or Mud Dobbers...
