most of you guys that have this mod, did ya'll just leave the hose open hanging under neath the truck like by the rear bumper or something or did u make a catch can or anything for it? thanks for the help
I have a "Monster condensate trap" that I installed in mine. Caught about 3 ounces of oil over a 5,000 mile time frame, some of which would have otherwise dripped onto my driveway without the trap. Pics in my gallery. The end of my hose downstream of the trap dumps out between my driver side rear wheel and the back of the fuel tank.
alright guys, thanks. does it smoke bad or like just a little bit? I will prolly run it all the way out and zip tie it behind the spare tire or the fuel tank or something.
Smoke bad?? not too bad at idele, but at 3500 rpm it will make the neighborhood call the fire department. When i fired up my truck last Sunday night after completing my intanks, and she got to warming up, I pushed the throttle down a good bit to rev at 3500 (trying to ge tthe air purged from the fuel system faster), and my son thought the truck was on fire!
