If I had it to do again i would not have gotten the 140..I just never use it.

It is not required but a BTS valve body tuned to the tuner and the tuner tuned to the valve body is a good upgrade.

I had a DP tune, & a "John Wood" trans installed the same day. With the DP I had 20, 40, 60 tow, 80 econ., & 120 race tunes.

For the most part I usually run in 80 econ, and rarely use the 120 race (but it is fun!!) . The low tow settings are used when towing and climbing the Mts of Colorado.

They do manage to keep my egt's down to bearable while keeping my speed up.

i have 40,80,120,140. i normally run the 80 econ. other than the 80 the next most used tune i have is the 140. it make some awsome smoke. its also the tune that wakes my rig up the most. just me but id go 140 over the 120

The 140 tune will really chug out some smoke. It has great throttle response, and it's what i was on when i made the picture in my signature. It wakes the truck up down low, but up on top my HPOP suffers. I make about 25-26psi WOT with the 120 and 140 programs, however if i run in the 80 econo, it seems to take longer to get there, however on top the power does not fall off as fast like it does on 120 and 140. I can make 30-31psi of boost with my .84 turbonetics in the 80hp tune.

You will need a buddy with lots of cash to bail you out of jail every time you floor it LOL! Best thing I ever bought for my rig. THe 80 econ is good, the 140 Race is a bit muchf or the stock HPOP and makes lots of smoke to boot. He has a lumpy idle tune as well.

Does anyone know what this is?

I have had the TS and now a DP. Never had that. The TS ran very well. The DP tunes are much stronger. I have a stock, 60tow, 80econo, and 120 race. At the drag strip I made many runs. Interestingly, I was able to duplicate for the most part my times in the 120race when I switched to the 80 setting. Take it for what it is worth. Probably maxing out the HPOP.

Hmm, i read something at ADM about it and they were talking about detotnation, and such but never got to the bottom of it? It sounds like my motor is rattling apart when it happens.

Wow. Didn't know a diesel could detonate. Maybe I will learn something here but don't see how detonation could happen there. No spark plug after all. My TS never even came close to that.

I think I know what your talking about, I noticed it when I had only the 10k mod, which was a while ago now, I think it waslow to mid range rpms(1600-2k IIRC), sounds more like a drivetrain bind then anything else? Not that me confirming really helps, but I think that would mean its in the hpop since the only mod for me at the time was the 10k mod? If we had the same noise?
