im lookin for around 650 hp i just wanted to make sure there wasnt any heads to stay away from or if there was any that worked better with a turbo this is pretty much the last thing i need in my setup

Well It all depends on what your running on the engine. You could get 650hp with stock heads if you run 30 psi. The better flowing heads (as well as cam intake etc) will get you to that point with a lot less boost.
CNC ported TrickFlow Twisted Wedge heads made 640 RWHP on a 331 single turbo in one of my FFMM magazines with a CompCams 274 cam I believe. This was @ 9psi of boost.
maybe this will help give me sum advice im running low compression setup and letting the turbos build high boost prob round 20 psi so i guess im wondering if theres any that dont do well with high boost
If you are running a production 5.0 or 5.8 roller block, anything much over 600hp will split the block in 1/2. 20 it awful high for a turbo when 600+ hp is easily achievable with 9psi.
Well, if he is using stockish heads, 9 psi wont give him 600 hp, hell need at least 20 to get even close depending on which camshaft he is running. The main factor in running that much boost is the pistons, get some good- Not ok, good pistons. The next thing is the headgaskets, get some good head gaskets and deck and bore the block with studs. The beauty of forced induction is you dont have to have the latest in flow technology heads to get big power, its basically how much your bottom end can take and how good your tune is.
im not going to use a production block my other thread 302 vs 351 has info on that my bottom end will have no expenses spared i know what happens if you try and go cheap but i dont want to spend thousands of dollars on sumthing i dont need or sumthing that isnt gonna last i want high boost to make my power so i can have it when i want it and i can turn it down just to drive around and take it easy on the engine
