79 fi50 ground issue?
i have a prob with my truck, at first, the left turn signal would not work unless if you hold the lever a certain way, then it quit working all together for both sides. i checked voltage to the flasher, its ok, but checkd the voltage to the light blue wire at the switch connector, nothing. i also have a issue with the parking lights, basically, nothing works except for the headlights and brakelights. no parkin or side markers, no signal at the firewall connection under the hood.the turn singnal switch was replaced about a year ago, and healight swtch is less than a month old. where are all the grounds for the switches? i check and cleand the grounds to the rear lights, but could the front effect the whole system? plus where can i find a new turn signal swtch for a reasonable price? im thinkin the contacts for the signal swtch are screwwy, therfore, may require replacement. i seemed to have all the issues around the same time frame. and all fuses are ok.
