If you want noise get the 6637.

I installed the AIS after running with the Napa filter for a while because I got tired of listening to the intake drone.

Do you hear the turbo more or just the intake drone with the 6637?? Not really wanting to hear the drone. But the turbo would be nice. Thinking about the foil delete thing. Did you do that??
Transferring this from PM to public:
The drone that was the worst was on decelloration down a big hill when the turbo was not building enough boost to muffle the intake valves opening and closing. It would sound like a big block gas engine at WOT with the air cleaner removed. As soon as the engine was under load the turbo would spool up and the sound would go away. It was really starting to get on my nerves and that's why I switch to AIS.
The 6637 sounded GREAT when climing a hill. I loved the sound of the WW singing away and it was just loud enough to not be obnoxious.
However since I switched to the AIS, I can still very clearly hear the turbo going about it's work, it just sounds much quieter now so I'm still grinning when I tow.
