I was wondering if any one has installed the AIS filter kit for the 7.3. Likes and dislikes. Also where is the best place to get one.

I can't quote prices here but I will set up a discount code for members that PM me or call. We also sell the Foam Sleeve for bringing more air into the AIS box.
here is the scoop, i had one till recent week, i loved it with stock motor, no problems at all, and tis is the best filtration money can buy without braking the bank, once i went with large injectors and bigger turbo i had to change it to 6637 Kwik filter, cause my motor was starving for air and i was sucking the filter minder when i got on it a little ,
as far as buying it look up the sponsors of the site first and google ford AIS , and surly you find them,
if you interested im going to sell mine if you interested it has about 700 miles on it or less, so its like new and i have fendes sleve that i ordered with it,

I have one and am very pleased with it. It provides much better breathing than the stock unit. I purchased mine at my local dealership as they had a special sale on them.
I have one too. I have stock injectors, 5" exhaust, stock turbo with WW and use the Diable Predator Tow/Haul tune pulling a 14k 5th wheel. The filter minder never moves and I am not using the foam sleeve. I do have a Zoodad mod to feed the filter housing plenty of air.
The 6637 is a great filter and I ran with it for a year, but I was getting so much intake drone that it was driving me nuts. I had to holler over the sound at certain times and that was unacceptable on a long drive. It does breath better than the AIS, but the AIS will breath plenty good for stock or mild tunes.

I just set up a discount code for FTE members only. With the discount our price will be lower than the other guy. You must PM me to get the code. This code will apply to everything on the site including turbos, exhausts, CPS, intercoolers, hose kits etc. www.DieselPowerProducts.com

i am wondering what kind of mods you have if any, and what kind of use your mule gets... specifically if you tow, what do you tow and what kind of terrain...

i too have the dreaded drone... not that it bothers me, until i go towing up into the mountains that is... i just wanted clarification though... you don't need the fender sleeve mod, even with that stove pipe you call an exhaust..? lol..!!! i'm just curious because i would have thought that you would need that fender sleeve...
