HEY DANNY!!!
Quit trying to sell everyone your wast of money
chips. ford has a service message out on your chips. It states that any truck with powertrain
related problems with a chip installed will NOT
be covered under warranty, PERIOD. The power stroke is a perfect example of this. the chip will ruin an e40d trans. raising max pressure
is not a good perfomance edition for any period
of time. dont you think if the powerstroke was capable of alot more power, ford would have made
it happen to boost sales? they dont because it isnt good for the engine or tranny in the long run
so throw your sales pitch all you want. i have seen first hand the damage these chips cause.
I tought this was a place where people could come and ask questions and help other Ford owners. There's no need to trash someone and there business.
That is Danny's business, he is here to help us. There's no need for trashing him and his business, look back in the posts and you will see how many people he has helped decide on whether to purchase a chip or not.
You want to flame somebody go to a Chxxx board somewhere.
Thanks HOTRODFORD. The flame gets a bit hot sometimes, especially when someone deals with partial truths. I currently install and sell to FIVE (5) Ford dealers chips in the SW La. area. These dealers sell the chips as part of their deals in the sale of the Powerstrokes and gas powered trucks. Evidently this gentleman had a bad experience with a dealer and some type of warranty problem. If in doubt check out the site http://www.mlmlaw.com/library/guidestock.html. There is a complete explanation of the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. This law, yes it is "LAW" was enacted to protect consumers from large manufacturers. If the chip voids your auto warranty, the you should remove that bug shield, aftermarket rims, bedliner, even your wax, if is not FORD brand. Most manufacturers offer their products at much less than full capabilities. Any product is capable of failure, the care you give your equipment effects the longevity much more than aftermarket add-ons. I have a great working relationship with the Ford Dealers here in La., as well as with the factory reps in Dearborne. I would be glad to help you with your problem, whatever it may be.
Thanks
Danny
