superchip for 99 Explorer

I have a 4.0 SOHC 6 cylinder 210hp 1999 Sport, and am considering purchasing a chip for increased performance.
Questions:
1. Can any un-mechanical "shmuck" install one quickly? (so my wife won't find out I spent $200+ on my Explorer when I won't let her buy a new coffe table)
2. How easy to remove are they if the truck has to be taken to the dealer for warranty work?
3. Are there adverse affects on the engine (life, internal pressures, etc.)?
4. What HP gain could I expect?
Thanks for your help.

First, yes it is really easy to install. Your computer should be on the drivers side attached to the firewall. The 4 digit code is on the computer, we will need this code to program a chip for your Explorer.
The chip is easily removed on an Explorer, since the computer is easily accesable.
The gains for your Explorer would be 20hp and
30 ft/lb torque. Your engine is 200hp stock, this is a 10% gain. Should be quite noticable.
Feel free to call for further info, be sure to tell us that you read it on Ford-Trucks.com
