CCV Mod questions

I did the CCV mod, but my o rings were kinda shady, but it was late sunday and the parts store wasn't open. So I need the part numbers for the orings so I can fix them.

Congrats on the mod. Which o-rings are you talking about, Rusty?

Below is a chart of o-ring information for the 7.3L engine.

About halfway across the chart, there is a column that is titled "Vendor". Those labelled Ford can be had from either local dealers of mailorder Ford parts from less expensive operations who are not as likely to gouge on price (like one of the site sponsors DirectFordParts or Y2Kparts). The others can be purchased online through those vendor websites:

I know that it would be better to get them from the other guys but mine are leaking. Would the dealer have this?

I just got mine from AdvanceAutoParts. They stock the exact size needed to go under the doghouse (1 1/4" ID, 1/8th inch wide). Mine were in really pi$$ poor shape when I did the CCV mod -- by the time I got around to putting in new ones, one was broken and there was some oil leaking down the valve cover.

That's good to know since my wife works at O'Reilly's I can get them at a discount.

They were like $1 a piece. With your discount savings, you might be able to make a call from a pay phone...
