Got my new aluminum rear diff cover and am ready to change fluid. A lengthy search in the oil forum and tranny forum seems to indicate 80W140 synth fluid with friction modifiers (I have LS) is the way to go.
Any brand favorites out there? I'd like to do this right the first time and not have to go back in there for another 100k!
Neal if you don't have any chatter or niose when turning then you don't need anymore additive added. the RP has it already in formula so it should be good to go.
