Four Wheel Parts lists a device called Britebox that they say lets you run the high and low beams at the same time. Has anyone used one before? was it worth the cost? Thanks!
Michael
It probably the same part that painless wiring and KC make. I am not aware of a model for dual filament bulbs, but the theory is when the high beams are turned on, a relay trips and lights the low beams as well.
In a dual filament bulb you'd produce a lot of heat. I don't think it would be a great idea. If your looking for a lighting upgrade, try Piaa superwhite bulbs and a relay harness.

Thanks for the reply. 2 years with no problems is good enough for me. As ReAX said, heat is what I was worried about. It does appear to be about the same as the Painless and KC units. They were all on the same page in the 4 wheel Parts catalog. I'll check out the PIAA superwhites also.

You can see the Britebox improvement by pulling the turn signal stalk backwards while driving at night. Doing this lights both low and high beam filaments and the lighting is really improved. The Britebox just makes it happen everytime you turn on the brights.
Before buying bulbs, read about lamps at danielsternlighting.com . Lot's of good info there.
