how much fluid
I just installed a mag-hytec trans pan and a tru cool cooler, I did not drain my T/C. How much trans fluid will I need to fill it up?

I believe that pan holds three extra quarts. I think 8 or 9 quarts ought to do it if nothing else was drained.

It says 8 quarts over stock what dose the stock pan hold? My owners manual says 17 q but i think that is for the hole system.

I recently dropped my pan and replaced the VB. I used the stock pan and it took around 8 quarts to refill.

EIGHT quarts over stock??? Dang -- that's bigger than I remembered it being. Maybe I was thinking of the MagHytec Diff cover??

My 2002 f250 held 14 quarts when I completely changed it.
