I have another question about my carb it has been sitting for a couple of days and i see that the gasket between the carb and intake is wet, and driped down a little bit. What could be wrong with it. And i just replaced the gasket and rebuilt the carb.
Lots of times on Holley's the accel diaphram will leak because the pump cover has been overtightened, warped and the will not seal properly to the bottom of the bowl. Terrible design if you ask me. This can be improved by removing said cover and filing it back flat, but I have never had a completely leak free Holley. I have also had to mill flat both ends of the main body where the metering body/plate and bowls attach. Same goes for the throttle plate and respective mating surface. There are lots(too many) places for Holley's to leak.

Yes. Kinda like a Harley, If it don't leak somewhere than it prolly don't run.
