Reason: forgot something
-Does it run fine after getting going or can you not get going? If it is fine after you are moving then it could be a problem with the accelerator pump.
-Did you use the correct firing order when chainging the wires? The 302HO/351 and standard 302 firing order get mixed up sometimes. If the cam has been changed then lots of times the 302 will have a 351 firing order.
-Make sure the distributor is tight, if it isn't you may have bumped the timing out of whack.
-Look for any vacuum lines not correctly connected.
OK I'm back, been out of commisson last few days, thanks for the advice ya sent, I ended up checking the spark plug wires and found the #7 and #8 wires were crossed changed them now the truck is running way better now I just have to re adjust the carb mixtures and the timing. Thanks
