The keyless entry is really great. I have used mine for over 4 years on my 2002 King Ranch and like the fact that I can leave the keys in the truck. This worked wonderful until I came out from work a few weeks ago and my code would not unlock the door. I looked for a wire to unlock the door after trying the code about 10 times and turned back to the pad and tried it once more and it worked.
I have since did a little research and noticed that when you push the first number in the code, the lights come on and if you wait a few seconds they go back out and you can try another number to see if the lights come on. If they do, the number is making contact and may be ok. I have not managed to repair mine as I have not been able to get the door panel off to check it out further. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone know how to reset this code? I bought my 05 Screw used and I've never been able to use the keypad because I don't know the code.

search the forum on how to remove your rear seat

on the back wall under the window, there is a little computer module. the code for your keypad will be printed on a sticker on that module.

the module sticker code + your owners manual will allow you to reset the previous owners personal code and make your own personal code. or you can just use the OEM code...works either way.

also, have you searched through the owners manual? mine came with a little card that had the over-ride code printed on it. the previous owner might have left it in there

Ok, thanks. Ya, I searched the owner's manual pretty extensively for the code and didn't see it, so the previous owner must of kept it or lost it, whatever. Looks like I'm gonna have to get it off the computer under the back window.

the back seat removal is a PITA...but it's better than paying a dealership $100 to get the code.

good luck
