Stupid Mirror Question
Here's a stupid question about mirrors, so before I break something I figure I should ask it, how do you get the mirror(whole housing and everything) off of the truck...I wanna switch from factory stock to the telescopic tow mirrors, but can't seem to pop the housing(interior) off to expose bolts.

hey i have those stupid stock mirrors too. Anyone know a good place to buy them? and if i have no lights on the stock can i put mirrors with lights on them without running new wires? 01 F250

You do need to run wire for the additional Lights.

You don't mention the left/right adjust issue on your website. Have you figured out a way around that with the 08 mirrors?

I have the extendable towing mirrors. To get the covers off, run the mirror all the way to the right and up and down to reach the tabs.
BE CAREFUL! I broke the first tab off not realizing that I didn't have to go-rilla the thing off.

msgtg, I think he wants to remove the whole mirror, not just the mirro back/light.
Like Biggziff said, the black triangle shape at the front of the window in the inside of the truck will just pull straight off the door. It takes a little force, but not too much. Some of the bolts are hiding under rubber caps, and some are hiding under the foam sound deadening/moisture barrier stuff.
