Stupid mirror question

I have heated, power, turn signal mirrors on my 2004 excursion. Want to replace them with tow mirrors with heat, power, and turn signals. What trucks mirrors (years, models) will fit on my ex. Thanks

Should be able to fit 2001-2011, not sure if the '12 & '13's changed any.

I have the paddle mirrors too. ried the factory extenders and they bounce so much I could not see anything. RockAuto has several to choose from but do not show the connectors. Before I buy one I want to see if it is a direct plug in or if I need to fab an adapter. the mirrors at RoockAuto are about $125 each. Not to bad for an upgrade. There are several different part numbers tho for similar looking mirrors. I will keep looking and post if I find what works.

2001-2013 all fit, only difference is plug style. I believe paddle is a round plug, regular tow is a square ish plug and the 08+ have a third style. Not 100% but I know they bolt right up and that's there are 3 plug possibilities

There is an adapter out there, I can't remember where I saw it or who makes it. I'll see if I can dig it up.

It depends on the features of the mirror as to which plug is on it. If it is just a power adjust mirror, the paddle will have the round plug. If it's heated and signaled, it has to have the rectangular plug.

On the oem 08 and newer you have to grind an aluminum tab off them, then they bolt in...

First, check your connection before buying the tow mirrows at the junk yard. I have an 04 and it is rectangular not round (bought after market tow mirros). The mirrows at that junk yard will fit if it has a rectangular plug. Also, only buy one with heated, power, and signals just like what you have now. 08 also have the power fold which I love to have.

I bought these, they plugged right into the connector on my '02 Excursion. There is an extra wire in the plug for the running light on the mirror. I ran a wire through the wire boot on the door to the running light wire on the switch so the running light feature now works on them too.

These did come out after I had bought the 99-07 style. They are a little more but I wish I would have gotten these.
