2002 PSD, how much xtra torque?
Would a 100hp+ chip be ok for a "fun" truck? I won't be towing, just lots of off-road, and it will have a 4" exhaust from the turbo outlet back.
Also, since I'm sure the chips increase the top-end boost, is there any problem with turbo flutter at these pressures? I know that Ford re-designed the impeller lately, and I've heard that this is an issue.
Thanks,
Lee

The current Diablo will give 78HP/150 ft-lb torque for the 78HP chip. Don't have a current figure for the Superchip but I can get one. Trust me, you put chip in a Powerstroke there will be NO denying that its there do its job. The HP/torque gains cannot be ignored.

For a "fun" truck, we could do a 90, a 100, a 110 or even a 125. For any of them, a 4" exhaust system and EGT gauge are MANDATORY.

I've received no reports of such problems and I sell quite a few PSD chips. The tranny shift valve sometimes needs to be replaced as it doesn't always provide adequate pressure for solid shifts. You'll know if you need it as the shifting becomes erratic.
