y pipe?
anyone install the y pipe being sold on ebay? they are claming 33 hp & 35 trq increase. i thought you lost trq when you changed the stock y pipe out? the smaller y pipe made back pressure?

Do a search in the V10 forum. You'll find lot's of info regarding the Y-pipe.
I know of at least one person on here that used the eBay pipe on a 5.4 SD and they were pleased w/ the results.
Lots of guys have changed them out w/ other Y-pipe's and I believe everyone was happy after the mod. Depending on the application, you may get some audible exhaust flutter but most agree the power gains outweigh the extra noise.

I installed the one from upay on my 04 F250 5.4 about two months ago.
I can't say it helped alot, but it certaintly did not hurt, and I feel better
the pipe restrictions are gone. I installed a catback, CAI, gears and Troyer custom tune around same time. Seat of the pants performance and pep is much better, likely a result of all mods.
