1) I have a f250 crew 4x4 (1997). On the front I put a Dana 60 with an ORU reverse shakle kit and f-350 deisel leafs (too stiff).
I was just told your leafs should never be flat. Is this true?
2) I got my truck back a few weeks ago from a local garage that was replacing a leaky axel seal. Thay had som dificulty find parts becase they just orderd for a 97 f250. I forgo to mention the D60. Regardless, I now have a severe wobble between 35 and 40 mph.
Did it have the wobble before the shop worked on it? If not than they did something! What seal did they have to change? What did they have to take off to change it and it was not put back on right? The hub, bearings, tie rod ends, ball joints, lug nuts even, drive shafts, u-joints, etc., etc..
It was a seal at the end of the axel (I don't remember what it was called). I will try to talk with them this weekend. I have no idea of the details of their work.
