ok orange ya thats right a kid right out of high school is going to have the cash to get rockwells let alone install them myslef. your good....lol well ya i guess dont worrry about it now since they are in. i guess like all things push it till something breaks the you have to get something bigger and better huh? when the drive shaft breaks or whatever i will try to get a one piece for it. hopefully it will be easy this next weekend so i can start out of third and go in the mud bog in third to keep the wheel speed

**** well look at your truck compaired to mine lol. i am pretty mechanically sound but damn you must have alot more time and money. wish i had time and money that just it. **** it would be painted with a cummins swap, and 44 or bigger. in texas they must be available. never checked but i dont think there are any near here. if i wasnt going to the navy i would go to wyotech close and i get to work on my truck good stuff. think i will break the middle u joint on the rear drive shaft. better take some extras to the mud bogs next weekend

I installed my 60 when i was a junior in high school....you can get a set of rockies for that much or less, and yes i payed 1100 for mine..if i could do it over again i woudl have rockies
i spent money on nothing but food, beer and my truck in high school
my 60 was 100 bucks out of the junkyard, but everything on it was good and tight, just repacked bearings, changed oil and greased everything, im still running the same wheelbearings and kingpins to this day....
Course now i dont even like to think how much money i have in it, chromo axles, joints, gears, e-locker, cover etc etc
Ive seen a front and a rear set of rockwells go for as little as 500 bucks many times, usually you only need 200 bucks or so to freshen them up, 300 or so to put a detroit in the front, weld the rear , couple hundred for pinion brakes(offroad only)
